Looking for a responsible person to care for a 7 year old child with autism and sensory issues. He is very happy and energetic and does have some language skills. Evening hours variable M-Th between 4-9:30. Day hours on Sundays between 9-1. Up to 36 hours per month.

This is a very active job consisting of playing, running, outside walks, games, serving meals and snacks, monitoring for safety and preparing for bedtime.

In a full-time management position, the Controller is responsible for development, maintenance and improvement of new and existing book-keeping procedures, inventory control, preparation of financial and management reports, and other related tasks, in accordance with company standards and GAAP. Position also supervises administrative personnel, and will from time to time be required to perform daily accounting tasks. The Controller reports directly to President/CEO.

Responsibilities and Duties include, but are not limited to:

General and Administrative

• Communicate effectively with members of accounting staff, Sales Team and other staff, informing and updating regularly to ensure sales, customer and financial objectives are met

• Manage telephone calls professionally, efficiently and with good communication skill

• Follow all systems and procedures outlined in company manuals

• Participate as a team player by supporting operations as needed

• Supervision of and assistance to administrative personnel

• Comply with all OSHA and other safety requirements

Accounting

• Control of new and existing processes and procedures in accordance with company standards and GAAP

• Develop, improve and maintain all Management Information Systems.

• Maintenance of customer, vendor and employee files

• Maintenance of cash balance and Line of Credit

• Maintenance of Fixed Assets schedule(s)

• Analysis of proposed Capital Expenditures

• Process customers credit requests, check references and approve changes to credit terms and credit limits

• Administration of both corporate and employee insurance (and other benefits) plans

• Preparation of quarterly and annual federal, state and local government reports

• Period end processing and verification of accounts, including bank reconciliation

• Preparation of financial statements and management reports, including budget

Fiscal Responsibility

• Develop knowledge of inventory status to maintain cost efficiency

• Research and recommend cost savings potential to management

• Make suggestions to maintain and update accounting procedures and policies

Qualifications:

The Controller shall hold CPA license or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Furthermore, the Controller must possess excellent mathematical and computer skills, with special emphasis on various accounting software packages and Microsoft Office products. The person must be authorized to work in the United States without any restrictions.

The Controller is primarily an internal representative of our organization but will from time to time be in contact with current and prospective customers, and will be in a strong position to influence their satisfaction and our company prosperity. Therefore this position requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism. The Controller also will be in a position to assist the members of the Sales Team in meeting their goals, which in turn is imperative to meeting all company goals:
