Speech and Language Pathologist
Job Description:
Representative Duties and Responsibilities:
* Supports all duties performed by the Program Manager,
* Diagnostic screening of consumers,
* Provides preventive and corrective therapy for consumers with speech and language disorder,
* Monitors, evaluates and modifies consumer progress and sets new targets for individualized programs,
• Assesses new consumers and provides reports,
• Works directly with consumers to provide speech therapy and or consultation.
* Attends consumer clinic meetings,
* Provides ongoing parental support and education and collaborates with parents and other personnel working with the consumer,
• Provides ongoing trainings and in-services to team members, parents and other personnel,
* Attends meetings as directed by CARE, Regional Centers, or collaborative agencies,
* Maintains ongoing consultation with team members,
• Acquires and retains referred families by setting up positive contacts with families during the assessment and intervention process,
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
• Masters degree from an accredited university by the Speech Pathology and Audiology Board
• License as a speech and language pathologist by the Speech Pathology and Audiology Examining Committee of the Medical Board of California.
• Minimum of one year experience as a speech pathologist in working with individuals with disabilities in clinic and or at home.
Salary: Comprehensive Benefits Package available for 30+ hours per week (Health Ins)
