Job Description:
My Name is Josh Dollahite, I am the Program Director for Camp Oljato. Camp Oljato is a Boy Scout camp located on Huntington Lake, Lake Shore CA up off Hw 168. I am looking for a few more staff members in certain areas pertaining to the Camp this summer. The camp goes from June 14th- August 9th. You will need to be able to commit the entire summer.
These are the Positions
Shooting Sports Director: You will the director over all three shooting sport areas: Archery, Shootgun, and Rifle. You will need to be over 21 years of age and will go to a week long National Camp School training to be a certified Shooting Sports Director by the Boys Scouts of America. You will be in charge of over seeing mainly the rifle range and providing the proper safety measures that go with having a Rifle Range
Rifle/Shootgun Instructors (2): Must be 21 years of age. You will be teaching the Rifle and Shootgun Merit Badges throughout the summer. You need to know your way around guns and NRA safety regulations.
Archery Instructor: You will be teaching the archery merit badge throughout the summer. You need to be able to teach to scouts the in’s and outs of Archery. It is a very difficult merit badge to perfect in a week and qualify for the merit badge, so patients and good teaching skills are a must.
Maintenance Director: Must be 21 years of age. You need to know your way around a shop. Have a mechanical background and be able to be a great problem solver. You will have a staff of 4 others under you, so you will have to be able to be a good leader and instruct others around you. You are the back bone of the camps facilities.
Other: Assistant Cooks (2): Be able to assist in cooking and prepping food.

Over 21, can work hard, enjoy the mountains, and can work the entire summer: June 14th-August 9th
