Job Description for BEHAVIOR THERAPIST
* Provides and implements behavior intervention program at consumer’s school/home/community
* Collects, records, and summarizes data on target behaviors
* Maintains updated notebook and record of consumer’s program
• Implements changes as requested by supervisor
* Monitors consumers program and progress
• Works under the supervision of Behavior Consultant
• Attends and participates in clinic meetings
Qualifications:
Qualifications for BEHAVIOR THERAPIST
• Positive attitude
• Motivated, professional, reliable, creative and caring individual
• Willingness to learn
• Over the age of 18
• Valid CA license, daily access to a reliable vehicle, and proof of current automobile insurance
• Completed livescan with clearance
• TB clearance
• Completed Bachelors degree.
• Willingness to commute to different locations to provide services
• Has at least 1.0 year of experience working with individuals with disabilities or with children
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Reasonable proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
• Communicates effectively in English (oral and written)
• Able to operate computer
• Ability to kneel, bent, push, pull, sit for extended period of time
Salary: COMPETITIVE HOURLY RATE FOR BEHAVIOR THERAPIST and SENIOR BEHAVIOR THERAPIST
