Resident Camp Assistant Cook
Job Description:
Working under the supervision of the Head Cook, and assisted by kitchen helpers, Prepare three meals per day for participants and staff of our children’s resident camp (approximately 120 people per meal). Must have at least a basic sense of cooking for large groups and be able to supervise a staff of four in the preparation, cooking, serving, and clean up of meals. Must be organized and have an understanding of safe food handling and timing. Must also be flexible and willing to pitch in wherever needed.
Camp Dates:
June 13-August 1 for regular camp schedule.
June 13-14 for camp set-up.
July 10-12 for Family Camp Weekend.
July 31-August 2 for camp take-down.
Qualifications:
1. Must be at least 18 years of age.
2. Must be willing to live on-site Monday - Friday (most weekends optional).
3. All employees must show written proof of absence of tuberculosis (TB).
4. Show a valid Social Security card.
5. Show proof of citizenship or approval to work in the United States.
6. Must be certified in Standard First Aid and CPR training.
7. Eligible candidates are required to submit to and successfully pass an alcohol and drug screening for controlled substances prior to hire; and, if selected for employment will be subject to on-duty random drug and alcohol testing as a condition of employment.
Salary: Weekly Salary will depend upon experience.
