Job Description:
Provides outreach and engagement services to youth and their families around how to access local mental health services. Create and operate an active peer to peer outreach program at consumer friendly settings and centers in their assigned urban and rural areas. Advocate for the needs of the under/unserved with all children service agencies with whom we engage. Be willing to meet consumers and their families at their homes or other locations convenient for them.
Qualifications:
-Two years of college plus two years of related experience -Ability to relate to others comfortably and be able to establish and maintain effective personal and community relationships. -Be able to network effectively -Experience in community organizing -Maintain a valid California Driver’ License and clean DMV record -Availability to travel around the county -Bilingual in Hmong, Spanish -Clerical skills, ability to work a flexible schedule, willingness work as a team -Be resilient , mature and well organized.
Salary: $10.86 - $15.20
