Job Description:
Promoting and selling building maintenance contracts, building and managing industrial and commercial client base, cold calling, bidding accounts, signing contracts and transferring all information to operations. Please see our website at www.environmentcontrol.com.
Qualifications:
Prefer experience in B2B outside sales. Must be a valid California Driver (Driver’s License and car insurance). The perfect candidate will: •Be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in English. •Love to sell, not just looking for a job •Be personable, friendly and comfortable meeting new people, even in a group of strangers •Be competitive – like the challenge of the sale, find obstacles energizing versus discouraging •Be motivated by achieving goals •Be able to handle a lot of rejection – can here ‘no’ 20 times and not get discouraged •Be able to talk their way past the receptionist and find out who the proper contact (decision maker) is •Be a ‘go-getter’ – self-motivated, doesn’t like to sit still, full of energy, creates productive work out of monotony •Prefer to be ‘out and about’ and not sitting at a desk •Present yourself as ‘believable’ – not an over-the-top pushy salesperson, but come across as real and follow through with what you say •Motivated by goals – able to work towards and meet sales goals
