Field Representative
Job Description:
Responsibilities include selecting land and contracting acreage with growers of onion, garlic and other vegetable crops, maintaining positive working relationships with growers, making ongoing field / crop inspections and taking initiative to address problems. May be involved in the supervision of planting and harvest activities. Position requires travel to grower locations in California and Arizona.
Qualifications:
Qualifications include BS in agriculture, crop science or related area; minimum of 3 years prior related experience in production agriculture and/or field supervision; strong organizational, negotiation and communication skills; and a strong mechanical aptitude.
Salary: $49k - $74k/yr DOE
