STUDENT ASSISTANT - CSU FRESNO FOUNDATION
Job Description:
Student Assistant - Foundation Financial Services - Part-time. The Foundation is currently taking applications for an immediate opening. During the Winter 2009 semester students must be able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week between the hours of M-F 8AM-5PM. During the summer students must be available to work at least 20 hours per week between M-F 7AM-3:30PM but may work up to 40 hours. Spring business hours are M-F 8AM-5PM. We will work with your class schedule when arranging your hours. The Student Assistant will work with the campus community to provide customer service with grants, contracts, trusts, and scholarships. The position is a general clerical and accounting position, offering excellent exposure to various accounting systems and office procedures. Student Assistants fall under the general supervision of the Financial Accounting Supervisor. The Student Assistant will be responsible for data entry, filing, mailings, updating, and maintaining spreadsheets. The Student Assistant will also serve as a back-up Receptionist for the Foundation Office. Qualifications:
The Applicant must be currently enrolled as a student at California State University Fresno for the winter 2009 semester. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office applications, have good clerical and customer service related skills, and be willing to work in a fast paced environment. The applicant must be punctual and reliable.
