Our Client is in search of a Nurse Manager to oversee the overall direction and supervision of patient care activities and nursing personnel of a nursing unit. You will consult with staff, physicians, and Chief Clinical Officer on nursing problems and interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met. You will ensure nursing staff follows policy and procedures and participate in the investigation and preparation of reports. You will also ensure adequate staffing for nursing units. You will have authority and responsibility for implementing the Standards of Nursing Practice related to all nursing care areas and functions. And you will act as the administrative representative in the absence of the Chief Clinical Officer.
Qualifications:
Requires Bachelors Degree with current state licensure, a minimum of 3 years of experience in all aspects of medical surgical nursing, and a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
