Job Description:

6. Identifies and Responds to Actual and Anticipated Community Service Needs
7. Represent Corporate Office
8. Plans For and Protects the Financial Resources of the Agency
9. Maintains Professional and Technical Knowledge
Qualifications:
1. Education: Master’s degree in social work or related field and a minimum of two years experience in a health or social service specialty.
2. Experience: Minimum of three years experience providing direct service for functionally impaired adults and frail elderly. A minimum of two years administrative experience in a health or social services delivery system including supervising capacity and contract management.
3. Must be able to work well with co-workers, employees, supervisor, clients, oversight bodies and community members.
4. Because clients and care recipients may be emotionally susceptible or fragile, all employees must be trustworthy and have outstanding reputations. Because of the potential ill effects on our clients, even unproved allegations of serious misconduct may harm the employee’s reputation. Even if the allegation is unproved, the employee may be suspended or terminated where necessary to protect the emotional well-being of the clients.
Requirements:
1. Current license if applicable and copy of accredited college or university degrees.
2. Demonstrated ability to provide staff training, supervision, and program planning.
3. Experienced in evaluation procedures.
4. Demonstrated written communication skills and ability to work effectively with a multi disciplinary team.
5. Current certification in first aid and CPR.
6. TB clearance and health screen.
7. Valid California driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
8. Comprehensive background clearance from Life Steps Foundation Human Resources Department.
