INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVES - Fresno Grizzlies
Job Description:
The Fresno Grizzlies seek aggressive, competitive, professional, mature and self-starting individuals who will be responsible for selling season and group tickets via telemarketing. You will make $8/hour plus commissions. You must be able to work Monday-Friday 9-1 or 1-5. There is a possibility that top performers will be offered a full-time position with the organization. For those seeking careers in sports, this is the job you want to start getting experience, and every team, regardless of the department, will value sales skills. We promoted 4 of our top reps last year to full-time positions with the company, or with other teams in professional sports.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary responsibility is to enhance the personal and business relationships of all potential customers by identifying and understanding their needs, and then customizing programs to meet and exceed those needs. This is a unique opportunity to start a career in the sports industry with the ability to gain experience in selling professional baseball, hockey, and soccer. Specifically,
• Responsible for making approximately 400 weekly outbound calls to generate new relationships.
• Build relationships with prospects via telephone inquiries and enhance relationships through in-arena appointments.
• Staff sales tables at various Fresno Sports Management events and games.
• Obtain leads and answer any questions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Self-starter with a positive attitude; committed to teamwork
• Excellent communication skills; customer service-oriented
• Solid prioritization and organizational skills
• Previous telemarketing experience is preferred
• High school diploma is required.
• $8 per hour + commission
Salary: $8 + commissions & bonuses
