Respite/childcare provider
Job Description:
Looking for a responsible person to care for a 7 year old child with autism and sensory issues. He is very happy and energetic and does have some language skills. Evening hours variable M-Th between 4-9:30. Day hours on Sundays between 9-1. Up to 36 hours per month.
This is a very active job consisting of playing, running, outside walks, games, serving meals and snacks, monitoring for safety and preparing for bedtime.
Qualifications:
cpr/1st aid
Reliable, very punctual and dedicated long-term
Physically able to meet high energy and activity levels
Experience with Special Needs children
Psych/OT/EDU/Soc students encouraged to apply
Pay is through a third-party State agency and timesheets are due twice a month. It will take about 2.5 weeks before you receive your first timesheets and about a week after that to receive your first paycheck. Please keep this in mind when applying.
Salary: $10.25/hr
