Primary Clinician/Program Manager
Job Description:
Students Targeted with Opportunities for Prevention (S.T.O.P.) is a primary prevention program working with at-risk middle schoolers at 3 school sites. We are funded through the Fresno County probation department and administered through Alliant International University. We provide an afterschool program that includes tutoring, group and recreation. We also provide individual therapy to students and their families. We interact with the school system and other systems that serve students. Our students are from an at-risk, low income, minority population. Primary clinician/Program Manager needed to fill position with start date of mid-January.
Primary Clinician / Program manager duties include providing on-site supervision to clinical and tutoring staff, administrative duties (scheduling, time cards), facilitating treatment/ prevention team cohesion and process, providing therapeutic services, organizing program events and services, providing program development, and facilitating working relationships with related organizations.
Qualifications:
Must be at least a master’s level student who has completed basic intervention courses and ethics course. Preferably, candidate should be near completion of degree, with clinical experience with adolescents and families. Crisis management experience is a plus. Good communication skills, patience, flexibility and creative thinking are all valued skills. Will begin interviewing during the first weeks of January. You will need daytime and afternoon availability in this position.
