Cinical Triage/Intake Specialist
Job Description:
Provide clinical triage utilizing a telephonic interview method. Respond to requests for mental health referrals in a professional and timely manner. Obtain accurate demographic and clinical information from the patient to ensure a referral to a mental health provider that best meets their needs. Treat each patient, family member, provider, office staff, and primary care physician in a courteous and respectful manner while protecting the confidentiality of each patient. Correspond with local mental health providers (psychiatrists, psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, licensed marriage and family therapists) and primary care physicians about referrals and ongoing treatment. Access and update patient data using computer software.
Qualifications:
BA or BS in psychology or related mental health field. MA or MS preferred.
Salary: To be determined based upon qualification.
