After-School Program Leader/Tutor (Graphic Design)
Job Description:
Kerman Middle After-School Program is in need of someone who brings a dynamic personality and creative approach to the field of After-School and our already stellar crew. An upbeat, fun and funky program leader will be in charge of their “Countdown” which is a homework tutorial of about ten-twenty middle schoolers. They will then be expected to create and initiate 2-3 classes weekly. We are currently in need of someone who has experience with graphic design, photoshop, dance, film production, and who knows what else. If you posses any of these skills or can bring something new to the program I want you on our team. You will be working from 2:30/45-6pm M,T,Th,F and Wed (early release) from 1:15-6pm. We also do some lunchtime activities which are volunteer times and are super fun and staff meetings which are factored into your stipend.
Qualifications:
Must love kids. I know middle school seems scary but the kids in Kerman are amazing and I have grown to LOVE this age group because they are fun, sassy, intelligent and talented.
You need to be available for all five days during after school hours and one saturday a month for academy (8:30-12).
Most important to me is attitude. If you have the heart for this like we do I can teach you to be an After-School team member, I cannot however teach attitude.
You MUST be enrolled in college (at least 6 units) three of which can be obtained through Saturday academy.
You MUST have a clean record. You will be fingerprinted.
Salary: $950 per month
