Project Coordinator, Health Systems Integration
Job Description:
The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Director and Project Manager in oversight and management of the daily operations within the Health Systems Integration Division. The duties of the Project Coordinator include, but are not limited to:
• assisting development and implementation of systems to provide for coordination of primary care and specialty care health services,
• assisting coordination of timely and accurate payment for those services
• coordinating with clinics and KMCHP the documentation and distribution of enrollment status of KMCHP patients
• assisting in grant writing and reporting, claims processing and reporting, data analysis and monitoring
Qualifications:
A Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university is required. The Project Coordinator should ideally have experience with community-based programs and have strong interpersonal and communication skills. The Project Coordinator must be willing to work with a number of databases within the county and COPE systems. The Project Coordinator is expected to have the ability to learn quickly, adopt and utilize new skills as needed. He/she must be able to work collaboratively and effectively while handling multiple projects on various timelines in an extremely fast-paced environment. A strong acumen for the healthcare industry, analytical thinking skills and a strong and dedicated work ethic are required.
A thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required. All applicants will be required to submit to fingerprinting for state and federal background checks.
