Drop-In Counselor
Job Description:
Person in this position will be responsible for providing support services, including health education, to clients, families, household members and other caregivers focusing on HIV related problems. Oversee and provide intake and program orientation for the client and family members. Facilitate the “Living Healthy with HIV” groups, develop client resources; social events; conduct basic data entry; and assist with operation of Food Pantry Program.
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited four-year college with a degree in Health Science, Rehab Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or a related field is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of two years experience providing direct counseling services is required. Great entry level experience.
Salary: $13 per hour/ 15 hrs a week
