Clinical Pharmacist:
This position is accountable for providing safe and effective pharmaceutical care at CHCC. Serves as pharmacology consultant, a patient advocate, and a fiscal conscience to the healthcare team while providing pharmacy services to meet the needs of patients/care providers, physicians, nurses and other healthcare team members. Processes safe and effective drug therapy beginning with the review of physician’s orders through the administration and outcome of drug therapy and includes providing clinical pharmaceutical services. The emphasis of this position is advanced pharmacy practice in a pediatric inpatient setting.
Pharm. D. - Doctorate of Pharmacy required. Current California Registered Pharmacist. Application of pharmacology and knowledge of drug distribution in a pediatric acute care hospital setting required. Must have minimum of four plus years of current or recent pediatric experience. Prefer candidates who have completed a pediatric residency program. Must be CA RPh License. Sign-on bonus of $5K up to $10K, relocation assistance of $2,500 up to $7,500, full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, two pension plans (one offering 60% match after first year of employment), long term care insurance, on-site child care center, and more! Must have experience in Peds!!
