Software Developer Intern
Job Description:
The Intern level position will have at least some measurable level of the skills and training indicated below, along with the desire and aptitude to learn. Intern positions are focused on helping individuals build real-world skills on production projects. Working as part an advanced development team, this position will be responsible for maintenance of existing software applications, confirming system specifications, designing technical solutions, software programming, unit testing, iterative user testing, and participating in the overall design of complex business software systems.
Qualifications:
All candidates are expected to have excellent oral and written communication skills, an extensive knowledge of information technology, and verifiable skills, expertise, and experience as indicated below. Intern Candidates will have practical and demonstrable experience and skills with the some or all of the following software development tools, platforms, and databases: - Visual Studio - Visual Basic .NET (Primary and MANDATORY) - ASP.NET - SQL Server - Visio Candidate will have training and exposure to formal software development methodologies including: - Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) - Data Flow Diagrams (DFDs) - Software development lifecycle - Application frameworks - Data persistence layers - Software requirements analysis and definition - Technical specification development
Salary: $12-16 per hour
