Job Summary
A fully competent engineering generalist in the field of mechanical engineering. Responsible for creating technical solutions for a variety of clients.
Job Duties
• Designs and prepares plans, specifications, and estimates for a variety of mechanical engineering projects.
• Researches markets to discover potential clients for engineering consulting services, identifies decision makers, establishes working relationships with those individuals, lands engineering work, executes, and/or supervises the execution of the work.
• Responsible for project management including proposals, scheduling, budgeting, and overall client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
• Requires a BSME, professional registration in CA helpful.
• 10+ years experience in mechanical engineering. Specific experience in one or more of the following fields strongly preferred: petroleum facilities; refineries; power generation; pipelines; missile launch support facilities; Water treatment; HVAC, sewage, and utility systems; process industries.
• Knowledge and experience helpful in codes, standards, principles, and practices related to the above fields.
• Successful management of large projects.
• Experience with management of client relationships.
