Senior Account Manager

Job Description:

1. Represent Dana Off-Highway organization to selected accounts and assigned territory by being the “Voice of Dana” to customers.

2. Sell axles, transmissions and drive shafts to targeted new accounts as well as to new opportunities at existing accounts.

3. Develop in agreement with the Sales Director: Marketing, sales and product strategy for customers/area assigned

4. Understand, define and implement tactical approach to customers to execute sales strategies.

5. Create and improve business relationship with assigned Customers/Area: Visits to Customers, Customer meetings, negotiation (new business/price increase/etc.), final report. Collect and understand technical and commercial requests, verify feasibility of solutions requested, be able to give immediate feed back for standard technical issues/products. Provide technical response to the Customer.

6. Filter, understand and support customer requests within our organization.

7. Monitor competitor activity

8. Monitor and communicate market segment trends.

9. Coordinate, lead and manage internal activities related to Customer relationship: Proto orders (Contract review, requests of new Technical specification, receipt of new technical specifications and compliance check). Coordinate documentation requests application review, etc. through internal meetings and feedback to customers.

10. Support the collection of accurate, compressive market data from customers including both short and long term forecast of customers’ machines and Dana Product.

11. Report promptly and accurately each month, business activities at assigned accounts and territory. Chosen candidate will be responsible for the OR and WA territory.

12. Conduct all business activities in an honest and ethical manner to the best interest of Dana Corporation, customers, and co-workers following Dana’s Standards of Ethical

Business Conduct

*This position will require to work out of your home, so the location is flexible, as long as you are located in the Western US region

Qualifications:

* Technical degree preferred, but will consider equivalent experience.

* Must have excellent communication skills.

* Computer experience in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

* Good oral and written communication skills.

* Must have the ability to work in a team environment with various external and internal customers.

* Must be a self-motivated individual capable to performing duties with limited supervision.

* Good organization skills are required.
