Child Care Worker - Wagon Trains
Job Description:
FOR THOSE WHO COMPLETE ONE YEAR OF SERVICE ON THE WAGON TRAIN, VISIONQUEST WILL PROVIDE UP TO $3000 TOWARDS PAYING OFF YOUR STUDENT LOANS.
ADDITIONAL MONITARY MONIES WILL BE AWARDED TO THOSE WHO COMPLETE TWO YEARS OF SERVICE.
*Assists and participates in individual and group meetings.
*Actively participates in ongoing youth program activities, including but not limited to, hiking, horseback riding, athletics, and wilderness programming.
*Follows all Company safety rules and regulations.
*Assists with safe behavior management and crises intervention when youth’s conduct warrants.
*May work during the day or at night.
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree required. Previous experience working with at-risk adolescents desired.
Candidates need to be flexible and be available for excursions from 3 to 10 days. One must be able to perform the physical tasks and have the social skills required to work with troubled youth in adventure base programming.
The ability to present an appropriate role model to youth. Skill in both oral and written communication important.
